Agriculture | n. phr.
a set of knowledge and cultivation techniques based on earthly and cosmic rhythms, according to which the calendar of the different tasks is established, such as planting, pruning, irrigation, application of compost and the optimal ripening stage.

Example

True to our commitment to the environment, we are taking another step towards organic farming with biodynamic agriculture, giving back to the earth more of what we take from it. This is the origin of Biodinámico Picual oil, an extra virgin olive oil made to the highest organic standards and which offers great character, good persistence and harmony, perfect for the most demanding consumers.

Additional information

A biodynamic EVOO is one that has been produced from olives grown in olive groves that not only respect the agricultural criteria of organic farming, but also opt for the use of cultivation techniques based on ancestral criteria, based on the parameters established in 1924 by its precursor, Dr. Rudolf Steiner. In order for an EVOO, or any other agri-food product, to use the term biodynamic in its labelling, it will be necessary that, from the production in the field, through all the elaboration processes, to the packaging of the final product, it scrupulously respects a series of requirements, in order to obtain the Demeter certification.
